13u Warriors Win Bronze in McGregor Cup

The 13u Warriors traveled to Peterborough on Saturday January 18th to compete in their McGregor Cup, the third tournament of their season. The Warriors finished morning pool play second in their pool with a win over the Durham Rebels Rage. In their quarterfinal match they beat Peterborough Thunder two straight. In semifinal action they lost a close match with the Ottawa Fusion Red team, and moved on to face the Kingston Rock Grit in the bronze medal match. It was a back and forth nail biter that had the Warriors winning the first, Kingston the second, and an absolute battle in the third that had the Warriors winning 15-13 to bring home bronze.
