16u Valkyrie win gold in McGregor Cup

The 16u Valkyrie participated in their McGregor Cup in Oshawa on January 28th, coming home with a gold medal. The Valkyrie entered the tournament ranked 5th out of 9 teams. They battled their way to first place in their pool in the morning, then went undefeated in the playoffs to take the gold. The gold medal game saw one of the most amazing comebacks ever, in the first set the Valkyrie were down 24-18, and rallied back to win 26-24. They kept the momentum and edged out the Titans in the final set 25-23. Well done Valkyrie!!
